Contract Disputes
A contract is comprised of three things: offer, acceptance, and consideration. Sounds simple. But what happens when the contract doesn’t work out quite the way the parties expected it to? Sometimes one party wants to end the contract and the other doesn’t. Perhaps there are disagreements about how the people or companies are following their obligations under the contract. Maybe there is a disagreement as to what a particular part or all of the contract actually means.
There are many ways a contract dispute can arise, and almost as many ways to solve the disagreement. The parties might each retain an attorney to review the contract and then determine whether anyone has actually violated it. Or the parties might use a mediator to help resolve the disagreement. Sometimes one party simply isn’t holding up to his end of the bargain, and the other party is left with no choice but to sue.
Contract disputes can be very complex, and often require a lawyer to help resolve the problem. That is where the Pennsylvania contract dispute attorneys of Forbes, Bender, Paolino, & Disanti come in.
